Stainless

We work mostly with 304 grade stainless steel, however we also work with 316 marine-grade when the application requires it.  Both are weldable and have good corrosion resistance and strength. Stainless products are contemporary and smart. They are non-porous so bacteria, mold and other common household germs don’t stand a chance with stainless.

Applications:  Just about anything you can think of.

How to clean:  Stainless steel surfaces are much easier to maintain than wood, stone, acrylic, or marble options.  For general maintenance, clean stainless-steel with warm water and soap using a sponge or microfiber towel. Rinse thoroughly with water and wipe dry to eliminate the possibility of water stains. Do not use chlorine bleach or anything abrasive.  For scratches, use a nonabrasive pad, such as Scotch-Brite, and rub in the same direction as the finish. For most finishes there is no need to deal with the scratches at all as the scratch blends in.

There are also finishes available that can mask or camouflage scratches. A random orbital finish with varying grits creates a refined, light grey, contemporary swirl and eliminates worry about scratches. There are also a variety of popular edges available for stainless counter tops.
